A day in Black Bush

This is the next edition to my oh so wonderful blog. Thought if might be fun to show a very special service project in Rose Hall. The branch council decided to help Sister Neeta Arthur remodel her home, knock out the end wall of her home and then build a wall with windows. I thought that would be really challenging but the competent men of Guyana did the whole job in two afternoons.

Sister Treseder learns to shred coconuts and cook on a fireside.

To market to market to buy a fat pig/alligator

Beautiful people, flowers and exciting views are everywhere. Little Josh and Lise and their uncle Hardot who was just baptised. Moving has a new meaning here. Forget house hunting just take you house with you.

We were driving through Skeldon market place in a tiny little road so tight that the merchants had to keep moving their wares so we could get through....Elder T squiggled the truck through and I snapped pictures up close and personal as fast as I could.
